Blueskies Guardian Angel (Patrick)   Feb 1997 – Sept 2008

Patrick was truly heaven sent!  I got him for my second show whippet and to keep Burdock company.  But by God’s will he went over sized, which lead me to get him and I involved in Delta Society.  He was truly a gifted therapy dog, so gentle and caring; we did 9 years of pet therapy (Delta Society Certified) together mostly in the pediatrics unit at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia, Washington.  He was a gentle old soul and my heart is still aching over this loss.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you back to me.

Ch. Blueskies Burdock SC, F CH. – 1994 – Nov 2004

Burdock was my first dog, my best friend and my first show dog.  He also was a wonderful therapy dog he was a certified through Delta Society for 6 years.  I enjoy watching him lure course which he earned his Senior Course and his ASFA Feild Championship title.  (And yes I do forgive you for eating up the interior in the Tahoe at the race)

I learned so much from him and he is truly missed.
Energy does not die, it only changes form, and you will always be with me
A special thanks to Barbara Smith (Blueskies) for sharing both the boys with me.  They both were truly a blessing!!  Also thanks for all mentoring you give me in the wonderful whippet breed.
You fell through my heart and into heaven
